NATO Deputy Secretary General: Russia’s nuclear weapon trainings is irresponsible behavior

Intensification of nuclear testing is irresponsible behavior on the part of Russia, says the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Alexander Vershbow.

“Russia should realize that by violating commitments, avoiding transparency and making its neighbors to feel insecure, it diminishes own security,” – wrote the NATO Deputy Secretary General on his page in Twitter.

According to him, Russia is pursuing nuclear exercises and “boasts” with new nuclear weapons.

“Perhaps mostly rhetoric, but it is highly irresponsible,” – complains Vershbow.

Earlier, Russia’s Strategic Rocket Forces had exercises in 12 Russian regions.

It was reported that the Russian Armed Forces are preparing to have 4,000 military exercises in 2015.
