NSDC Speaker, Andriy Lysenko reports about a deteriorating access to food in some areas occupied by so-called “LPR.”

According to him, prices have risen sharply there.

“There is a shortage of sugar, salt, oil and other essential commodities. There are documented cases of famine among the local population in Sverdlovsk, Snizne, Thorez, Slovianoserbsk and Pervomais’k because of the lack of money to buy food,” – reports the NSDC Speaker.

The “Information Resistance” has reported on Friday that “DPR” militants are thinking about the introduction of food cards in the areas under their control.

Earlier, the ZN.UA wrote about the extremely difficult conditions in which civilians have to survive. Local population in the “hot spots,” not able or not willing to leave, is hiding in shelters with pets, settles bed under shelves and even takes computers to the shelters. Constant shelling is still threatening and destroying infrastructure despite the ceasefire.
